Cookies and Cream Fluff

Cookies and cream fluff is made using one of the best-selling cookies in the United States, the Oreo. Introduced in 1912 as the Oreo Biscuit, the origin of the name Oreo is unknown. The Oreo Biscuit was renamed the Oreo Sandwich in 1921, then again in 1948 it was changed to Oreo Crème Sandwich. Finally in 1974 it became the Oreo Chocolate Sandwich Cookie, which is the name that remains today. No matter the cookies’ name, they are the highlight of this creamy fluff recipe.
