  1. Combine buttermilk, water, salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Pour mixture into a large skillet.
  3. Spread out fish filets in skillet, turning to coat each side. Set aside.
  4. Combine corn flour, all purpose flour, and seafood seasoning in a 2-gallon plastic bag.
  5. Add a few filets at a time to the bag and turn until evenly coated.
  6. Heat the oil in a deep skillet until the temperature reaches 365°F.
  7. Place filets in the oil and deep fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  8. Remove fish filets from oil and let drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot or warm.

Notes

Fried fish is great with ketchup or hot sauce. You can also add bread and make a sandwich.
