Blarney Stones are one of the state’s most iconic desserts and are a popular treat on Saint Patrick’s Day throughout America. Variations include using other nuts like pistachios or almonds.

							Ingredients
- 2 cups powdered sugar
 - ½ cup milk
 - 1½ tsp vanilla extract
 - 2 cups dry roasted salted peanuts, finely chopped
 - 1 pound cake (store-bought or homemade), cut into small cubes
 
Directions
- Pour powdered sugar into a bowl.
 - Whisk in milk gradually, until the mixture looks like a thin frosting.
 - Stir in vanilla extract
 - Put chopped peanuts in a separate bowl.
 - Line a surface with wax paper.
 - Dip one pound cake cube at a time into the frosting, then roll each piece in the peanuts.
