Norwegian Meatballs

One of the most traditional foods of Norway is meatballs. In Norway this dish is called kjottkaker, which means “meat cakes.” They are similar to Swedish meatballs, but the Norwegian version contains many more spices. Norwegian meatballs, often served with a brown gravy, are most commonly made using a combination of pork and beef.
